Do Not Buy!

This company sends you a sample, just pay for the postage. Immediately, they charge you $90 for a one month supply (just appears on your bank starement). Then, they refill your one month supply, automatically another 1 month supply, another $90 per month. DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING! DO NOT BUY UNLESS YOU HAVE $90 TO WASTE EVERY MONTH. VERY POOR PRODUCT; MADE MY SKIN BREAK OUT. JUST USE VASELINE, IT IS A LOT CHEAPER! The advertisement is for a free sample but you will find you are being charged every month for rhis waste of time. The consumer needs to advocate refusal to pay the company if we want honest pricing. Warn others of the product scam. WARNING TO CONSUMERS,

Nothing special here

I don't believe I signed up to receive more than a free sample. Now my account is being charged monthly. Have to research how to undo. This is face cream...nothing more. Probably full of glycerine to give the soft feel, but not a miracle by any means. After signing up for a free sample, I continued to receive the product in a box with invoice, shipping info or anything. How do I stop this? I am very careful about these things, so am suspicious as to how I got on their list. People should be warned to be extremely careful on these sites. Now I have to spend valuable time fixing this mess.

Ridiculous trial offer

While the product may be satisfactory, if their established "free trial" offer starts as soon as a customer places their order, how is the customer getting the ACTUAL 14-day or 15-day "free trial" offer. There were NO instructions on when to cancel your order or how to return the product to receive your money-back guarantee. This company bills the customer's credit card AFTER their established 14-day or 15-day trial ends so that you can't dispute it. If their policy is based on semantics, then they are, by law, to give the customer the FULL time frame to use the product before automatically charging the customer. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM; STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Be careful when ordering!!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I placed an order and no where in the intial orders are the terms and conditions. If you are thinking of buying this TRIAL be aware within 14 days of the order they will charge you full price. When you call they tell you you had 14 days from the order date to cancel . I went back to the order site and nowhere do they tell you that you have 14 days. I am guessing that information is in a disclaimer they give you after they get your credit card #. And i wasn't doing that again!!!! So.... Be Careful dealing with this company, they do not give you adequate time to try their product. And once they get that credit card info you will be on the hook for at least one months supply. For me that was 175.94. If you call their support number thay won't even forward you to a supervisor. They claim they are not sure when one is avaiable!!!!!

Alluracell - Cream Review from Indianapolis, Indiana

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
This is definitely a scam or at least adeceptive. I ordered the trial order and did not know that if you did not contact them within 14 days you were charged the full price for the trial order which was well over $180 because I ordered both the skin cream and the eye serum on a trial. They then billed my credit card without sending a product and said that I had paid or was paying only for the trial offer period after being on the phone 30 minute to customer service they did allow me to cancel and take the amount off my credit card I did get an email stating that they had taken it off. We will see as I am calling the credit card company today forwarding their email to them. I can't believe I fell for this this is nothing but a scam it did absolutely nothing I might as well be putting cold cream on my face and eyes it would have done just as much which was nothing. I am considering taking this information to an attorney not to try and get anything out of them but just to try and get them to stop this deceptive process. I am an educated person and should have known what I was getting into. I can afford the money but there are many people who cannot and those are the people that I want to protect.

Unauthorized charges

After ordering trial size rejuvenating cream and essential eye cream for $5.97 and $ 4.97, on February 15th, I have been charged again on February 26 and 27 in the amount of $89.97 and $ 85.97, which they claim I did not call with 14 days to cancel and then they charged again on March 28 for those amounts. They also claimed they have sent me product and they have not, further they say charges will continue to accrue until the account is cancelled. Further the person I spoke with on the phone says he cannot give me information as to the company name and where they are located.

Completely agree. Was surprised to see the "extra" charge on my card.

By the time I got the statement, it was too late to cancel the "trial" and get my money back.

Total rip-off! Be careful - never order any trials, they will steal a lot of money from you before you can get everything fixed/cancelled!

Fake charges

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I saw the ad on Facebook. I fell for it. I spent $4.97 and $5.97 for two products. Two weeks later, I was charged $85.97 and $89.97 that I did not authorize nor want. I will call tomorrow and ask for my money back. I certainly have received no other product, and do not wish any more product. Frankly, I cannot tell that this stuff does anything at all. I look the same before after use as before. I can get better quality products from Avon. They can keep this ***.

I had the exact charges in the exact timeline happen to me. VERY UNHAPPY about them taking it upon themselves to do this. For this reason, I do not wish to have the product anymore.

Charged without my knowledge

I received your free samlple and my skin broke out. I didn't want anymore but to my surprise you went behind my back and charged me for the eye and cream. Please take them off and replace my charge to my checking account. I checked with my lawyer about this and he said I had to send you a letter, so here it is. I'm very upset by this...I had to have EM total right knee replacement and you send me products I didn't want without and kind of bill or e-mail. If this isn't taken care of within this week , you'll be hearing from my lawyer..the total amount to be put back into my checking account is $175.94. Thank-you ..Lois Fairchild..Fairchild.lois@***.com

HORRIBLE

Don't be an *** like I was...there is nothing to indicate that the "free" sample is a continuing agreement. There is no place that gives a deadline for cancelling the non-existent continuing agreement. Now I've got a credit card charge for almost 90 dollars for a little teaspoon of worthless lotion. DON'T DO IT!!! Customer service not helpful. This is a bad, bad, scam. There is no integrity with this company. Avoid at all costs. They are preying on good people with false advertising. The customer service is terrible. This scam is difficult to deal with because the bank has no power to stop it.

You probably missed the auto shipment part of what you were signing up for. Most people do.

Dispute the charge anyway as the credit card company imposes a dispute fee on the company. At least you used a credit card. Some people insist on using debit cards----bad idea.

Good luck. Make sure Alluracell provides a copy of their disclaimer showing how they can charge you so much when they respond to your dispute.

Huge Scam

As with the rest of the reviews, I too ordered the "trial size" and paid for shipping. I was charged 4.97 and 5.97 on January 22nd. On Feb 4, I was charged $89.97 and $85.97 for items that I did not order. Received a package dated March 8th for this charge. Funny how they are 30 days behind in there mailings, probably to deter cancelation. Had I received that package sooner, I would have been able to avoid the March charge that I will most likely recieve in May. They refused to credit the March 4th charge, even though they have not mailed out the product. I called my credit card company, they said I need to contact them directly to cancel my "subscription". I never "subscribed" for this product nor did I authorize any further charges on my account. This is a scam avoid at all costs. PS. Product does not do what it claims to do.

Ordered trial and was charged 185.00

I ordered what I thought was a free trial and 7 days after receiving it was charged 185.00. The product does nothing and they steal your money. This company is a scam and a fraud. It is shameless. I called and they said the best they could do is give me 50% of my money back. I received an email giving me 50% of one item but not both. I tried to call back and once the computer recognizes your number they no longer take your calls.
